About

It all started when…

I graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in English Literature, where I served as a student volunteer in the Writing Studio. After returning to my hometown of Sarasota, FL, I began teaching College Prep and Honors English classes in a private high school setting. I began working with non-native speakers to improve their speaking, writing, and literacy skills by volunteering with the Sarasota Literacy Council. I have also taught a biannual SAT Prep course since 2015. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have offered private one-on-one tutoring to high school and middle school aged students in the areas of Reading, Writing, Grammar, Vocabulary, and Literature, as well as SAT and ACT Prep. I am also proficient in editing and orchestrating successful essays for college and scholarship consideration. I am currently furthering my education by earning a degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
